As a Security Operations Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents while helping safeguard clients against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM and other security tools.
- Investigate potential threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Respond to security events and support incident containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Maintain and optimize security operations processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to strengthen overall security posture.
- Document findings, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscapes, and attack vectors.
- Proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in a SOC, incident response, or similar security operations role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, CISSP) are a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.) preferred.
