As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you’ll advise enterprise clients on strategies, frameworks, and solutions that address today’s evolving threat landscape while aligning with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client environments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance gaps.
- Design and recommend tailored cybersecurity strategies, policies, and architectures.
- Guide clients through regulatory and industry standards (ISO, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Lead security assessments, workshops, and advisory sessions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.
- Provide continuous guidance on emerging threats and evolving best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Expertise in threat assessment, security governance, and architecture design.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.
- Familiarity with security technologies (SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection, cloud security).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s a plus).
- 3–5 years of consulting or advisory experience in cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
- Proven ability to work with enterprise clients across industries.
